On behalf of the children, parents and staff of Auchenblae Primary, welcome to our school. This website aims to give you a feel for life here at Auchenblae Primary and also provide regular information for both parents and children.
Our school is located within Auchenblae village, 2 miles west of the Fordoun Junction on the A90 between Stonehaven and Laurencekirk. It is at the heart of our community, with children having been educated on the current site for more than 130 years. There are currently 87 pupils in school (split into 4 composite classes) and 9 pupils in nursery. Our main building was built in 1891 and we have an additional portacabin classroom. We also enjoy a purpose built, 16 place preschool provision. We are fortunate to have a beautiful outdoor area which includes a playground, a playing field, wildlife area, wild flower meadow, vegetable beds, fruits bushes, outdoor classroom and play equipment.
We aspire to have an inclusive, nurturing and ambitious learning environment where every member of our diverse school community can be empowered to thrive through building the resilience and skills required for successful lifelong learning. We hope this website gives you an opportunity to understand a little of what our school is about. If you are lucky enough to visit our school, we are confident that you will meet children who clearly enjoy school, have an appetite for learning and make the most of the opportunities provided at Auchenblae School.

Appointments
Mornings, and in particular Monday mornings, are very busy and it will not always be possible to see a member of staff if you have something that you wish to discuss. It would therefore be helpful if you could contact the school office in the first instance to schedule an appointment or a phone call back. Your help with this is much appreciated.
